Description
In arid climate regions metro, both (TVS) and Ventilation and Air Conditioning (VAC) System are required to achieve passenger safety and comfort during revenue service. Indeed, during normal mode of revenue service, while the TVS is under operation to remove the excess heat dissipated by the trains dwelling in the station trackways, an interaction occurs with the VAC at the open (PSDs) which affects the airflow behavior at the station entrances. When such phenomenon induces air ingress from the outdoor to the entrance shelters, the temperature in the latter increases, especially during summer when the outdoor temperature is 46oC.
