Description
This paper reviews several past attempts related to jet fans performance specification mainly in Japan, comparing international standards such as ISO and other norms. In addition, up-to-date real tunnel experimental results of measurement of jet fan thrust are also compared with numerical simulation. Finally, we summarized the issues to be tackled and clarified in order to specify the pressurization performance of jet fans more properly and accurately for the future works.
