Description
The longitudinal ventilation system of the well-known Mont Blanc road tunnel of 11.6 km has been recently refurbished by the Design & Built consortium Eiffage / Egis / Martina between September 2022 and January 2024 as the life time of 20 years of existing jet fans has already been achieved. The Major objective of this refurbishment was to improve the effective thrust of each bank of fans without increasing the nominal motor power, without increasing the noise, respect the existing constraints with the civil infrastructure and the traffic gauge and improve the maintenance of fans.
