Description
The article focuses on the role of digitalization in activating and monitoring the ventilation system in a tunnel, on the example of the tunnel under the Świna Canal in North-West Poland. The experimental research methodology and the measurement results are presented. To verify the effectiveness of the ventilation system, the authors used a digital model to simulate various scenarios. Comparison of the measurement results with the digital model allowed for a deeper understanding of the system’s response to planned and random factors. The article emphasizes that digitalization supports the ventilation system design process, enabling precise measurements and effective testing.
